Overnight Accommodation
On this 4 star safari we overnight at an intimate little lodge called Phumulani. The lodge is located at the Numbi Gate in the south-western part of the Kruger Park. The lodge only has 30 rooms and is regarded as one of the best for value-for-money in the 4 star market. The air-conditioned rooms are located in a circle around the main building and each room consists of a en-suite bathroom and private balcony. The main lodge and restaurant area include a bar, swimming pool with sundeck and an outdoor boma, where dinners are often enjoyed around the open fire. Meals at the lodge are primarily buffet-style and often have an African theme.

We spend 1 night at the renowned Critchley Hackle Lodge in Dullstroom. This tranquil lodge is renowned for great fishing and great food and reminds of the Scottish highlands. In winter time the fireplaces in every room ensures a cosy and relaxing atmosphere.

Transportation
This safari can be joined either in Johannesburg, Pretoria or at any of the local airports near the Kruger Park. The rates for joining the safari from either of these locations are the same. Transfers to and from the Lodge are an air-conditioned mini-bus and is included in the cost of the Safari. We can also collect from other points, so please contact us should you need to check on this.

Game Viewing Activities
We know that this is the most important part of any successful safari. Our game viewing drives are done in the game-rich southwestern part of the Kruger Park and we constantly spot the Big 5. Our game viewing vehicles are specially adapted for the conditions in the Park to ensure comfort and visibility. Our vehicles are linked by radio to other vehicles in the Park and this increases our chances of spotting the Big 5. On game viewing drives you will be escourted by the most knowledgeable professional rangers, ensuring that you get all the facts to maximize your Kruger Park experience.

Included in this Safari Package
This safari package includes the overnight accommodation, breakfast and dinner daily, all game viewing activities in 4X4 safari vehicles, fly-fishing activities at Critchley Hackle (excluding rod hire), return road transfers from the Johannesburg area and a tour of the Panorama Route including God’s Window, Pilgrim’s Rest and more.
